Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign

In 2023, St. Peter congregation members rang bells at the Georgetown Walmart. All funds went to the Salvation Army in Williamson County.  

St. Peter Quilting Ministry

The St. Peter Quilting ministry remains active although at a slower pace since Covid began. They continue to sew hand-made quilts and donate them to Lutheran World Relief for those around the globe in need of warmth and comfort.

• In 2018 they donated 100 quilts
• In 2019-2020, they donated 140 quilts (less than 2 years)
• In 2021 they donated 106 quilts
• In 2022 they donated about 80 quilts
• In 2023 they donated 73 quilts

This demonstrates a continuing commitment of skills and resources by this group. They also raffled quilts for funds to support other community ministries. More quilts are in the works.

College and Seminary Scholarship Fund

Every year, the Birkelbach Scholarship Fund assists young men and women with their college and seminary tuition expenses.
